Local Groups provided by GOAL for Community Organisations
Local Groups are Social Networking Sites and websites provided by Ning and Spanglefish linked through Get Online and Learn (GOAL). They allow local community and voluntary organisations to set up and run their own Sites free of charge, with free training on how to do this from a technical expert.
GOAL aims to encourage and assist local organisations within West Lothian to access ICT training and to develop their own Sites, which can be maintained and updated easily by the group.
A number of organisations have taken advantage of this opportunity and, with the help of GOAL now have their own Sites. Many more are in the development process. Don't get left out! Send an email to goal@wled.org.uk if you are interested in getting your group on GOAL.
