Welcome to the Microsite Section of GOAL!About microsites Microsites are mini websites provided by GOAL. They allow local community and voluntary organisations to set up and run their own websites for free. GOAL aims to encourage and assist local organisations within West Lothian to access ICT training and to develop their own microsites (websites with their own identity, linked to GOAL, which can be maintained and updated easily by the organisation). A number of groups have already taken advantage of this opportunity and, with the help of GOAL, now have their own web sites. More are in the process of being built. Don't get left out! Who can apply? If you think your local community or voluntary group would benefit from a microsite, we would love to hear from you. First we ask that you consult our guidelines to see if your organisation meets our criteria. If you do, then please apply for a microsite using either our online application form or by printing off the Microsite Nomination Form and returning it to us. Once we have received your completed form, it will be assessed and you will quickly learn if your application has been successful or not. If your group is successful you will receive the training and guidance you need to set up your own website. Microsites are not exclusive to voluntary organisations and community groups. If you feel that your organisation is in a position to offer content that would be of interest to people who live and work in West Lothian, whether in this microsites section or in one of our other sections, please go ahead and fill out the application form so that we can contact you to discuss your plans in more detail.
